Check this out: Celebrating Gratitude
Sounds good to me. I've become a big fan of gratitude these past seven years since being diagnosed. I was grateful for things before that, too. But after... much more so. Because the closer you come to losing it all, the more grateful you are for every single thing, great or small.
I know I sound corny as hell, but oh well. I don't care!
Gratefulness isn't corny; it's cool! Everybody's doing it. ;-) The conference looks great. I wish I could go for some of it, especially the 11:30 panel (Business of Gratefulness & the Heart of Work) combining business (Chip Conley), poetry (David Whyte) and being with dying (Joan Halifax). A lot of ground to cover, but all so interesting to me. Instead, I'll be alternating between work and celebrating Pride Weekend with a few movies at the Castor Theater for Frameline's 36th LGBT Film Festival. So much to be grateful for! I hope you enjoy it!
