My steppingstones leading to this YouTube video were: 1) I knew from past research that women with breast cancer have lower levels of melatonin than women without breast cancer, 2) I googled "pineal gland and melatonin," 3) From the googling in #2, I ended up reading a post on someone's blog about a study that had been done showing that people with higher levels of fluoride in their pineal glands end up with less melatonin because fluoride messes up the melatonin.
Therefore, I thought: Hmmmm, I already believed that fluoride in our drinking water was a very bad, unhealthy thing...but I never connected it directly to breast cancer. Interesting.
Getting a reverse osmosis water filtration system has been on my to-do list for a long time, but not at the top. I use a funky little Brita pitcher which doesn't really deal with fluoride...and I try not to drink much tap water. Lots of Pellegrino instead.
But what about the shower and tub? And brushing teeth? Sheesh.
Well, normally I'd say I thought we'd put to sleep the old fluoride business 50 years ago, but these days who knows what is true any more? I say drink jelly donuts.
