2015 update: I'm a 62-year-old self-employed small business owner. My business is The Writing Salon, a school of creative writing for adults, founded in 1999 in San Francisco.

I'm also the mother of my beloved 31-year-old circus performer son.

And I live with my partner, Jack, and a hybrid terrier rescue mutt, Ms. Olivia Bouchet. We reside in San Francisco's Bernal Heights neighborhood, where I hav been known to roam around (usually while walking Olivia) taking photos of decaying walls, old fences, trees, leaves and other neighborhood visuals that speak to me..
