Last Sunday morning Jack and I and Olivia headed out over the foggy Golden Gate Bridge for an outing to sunny San Rafael to enjoy an event created and choreographed by my friend Kerry Tepperman: "Marin's Glorious Glass Pumpkin Harvest." This is the second year, and it looks to me like it's going to become a popular autumn event.
The pumpkin harvest provides a lovely venue for many hand-blown glass artists to sell their work, and is also a fundraiser for both the Falkirk Cultural Center and the environmental organization, Seacology, "an international environmental nonprofit organization that focuses on saving endangered species, habitats and cultures of islands throughout the world."
