I'm getting so Flickr Smart, now. I've learned that my inclination to take up-close photos means that I like doing "macro" shots. Here's one from my last walk with Olivia, of a window with a leaf hanging from one spider web thread. I saved it in high contrast but didn't do any other manipulations (because I don't know HOW to do manipulations; I wish I did...well, guess I'll have to spend less time earning a living and more time on Flickr, asking photography questions).
One other thing I've learned is that I'm more drawn to color than to composition (maybe because color is easier to work with than composition or, say, technical camera stuff)...so I made a Flickr "set" of my photos that emphasize color, and when you look at them altogether, it makes quite a pretty mosaic. A little photo quilt, if you will.
