Ann Fonfa/Annie Appleseed Project

This is an article about the woman, Ann Fonfa, who returned my panicky call to her (asking for help and guidance) shortly after my BC diagnosis last September (2005). A stranger had given me her name and phone number.

Ann called me back, long distance, from a phone booth during a cancer conference that she was attending.  Had it not been for that return phone call from Ann, my life most probably would have gone in a very different (worse) direction. I'm eternally grateful to her, and I encourage you to check out her wonderful non-profit website. You never know when it might come in handy.

Oh, and one more thing. Ann Fonfa does the website singlehandedly. She doesn't even have a part-time assistant! It's a huge job, and she does it on a shoestring budget.
