With so many classes coming up this Fall Session, I hope people haven't overlooked our three new "Roundtable" classes — the Memoir Writers' Roundtable, the Screenwriters' Roundtable, and the Magazine Writers' Roundtable.
These Friday evening "wine and cheese" get-togethers will be less formal than a regular "class" — more like a conversational literary "salon" where you meet up with like-minded writers who want to hang out with one another for an evening of "talking shop" and getting support.
The teacher isn't going to lay out an "instructional agenda." Kathleen (memoir), Terrel (screenwriting) and Cary (magazine writing) will be there primarily to help facilitate and guide the evening's conversation, but not to dictate the specifics of what will be discussed.
Best of all, these roundtables are a bargain: $35 for members/$45 for others. They provide a nice one-time infusion of comraderie and inspiration to keep going.
